Borussia Monchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst has been in fine form this season, scoring 15 goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances.

Nagelsmann puts him in from the start, meaning Mainz favourite Jonathan Burkardt would make way.

Leon Goretzka scored on his return to the Germany fold and he starts Stuttgart youngster Angelo Stiller in central midfield. There’s a change of formation from Naglesmann, with Jonathan TahAntonio Rudiger and Nico Schlotterbeck starting in a back three.

Joshua Kimmich and Maximilian Mittelstadt are the wing-backs, with Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala supporting Kleindienst in attack.
