A few seasons removed from breaking the NBA’s all-time scoring record, LeBron James hasn’t slowed down in raising his career point total.
Now in his 22nd NBA season, James continues to build upon his title as the league’s scoring king, putting the record further out of reach for future stars. It remains to be seen if someone will someday threaten James’ 41,000 regular season points and counting, but there are a number of other active players that rank among the NBA’s all-time scoring leaders as well.
Kevin Durant remains one of the league’s deadliest scorers at age 36. If he can continue putting the ball in the hoop at an elite level as he approaches 40, Durant should be able to become a top-five scorer in league history. He currently ranks eighth on the list, chasing Wilt Chamberlain’s seventh-ranked 31,419 points.
James Harden and Russell Westbrook also rank among the top-25 career scorers in NBA history, while Stephen Curry isn’t far off at No. 26.
